FIU Athletics Launches “ROAR” Name, Image and Likeness Program in Partnership with INFLCR

Platform will provide FIU student-athletes with resources to benefit from NIL opportunities

From FIU Athletics:

FIU Athletics is pleased to announce the launch of the “ROAR” Program, which will provide Panther student-athletes with the knowledge, resources and skills they need to benefit from the use of their name, image and likeness.

FIU “ROAR” focuses on personal brand management, business development, financial literacy, networking as well as aspects of Business law to optimize the decision-making process and enhance NIL opportunities.

“The Name, Image & Likeness era is an exciting one for our student athletes,” Pete Garcia, Executive Director of Sport and Entertainment said. “It is important for us to both educate and support our student-athletes throughout the process, which is why we have partnered with INFLCR, the industry-leader in the self-branding space. Their innovative platform will help our student-athletes maximize their NIL opportunities and serve as a launching pad for their future success.”

Through an enhanced partnership with INFLCR, the leader in the brand-building industry and a pioneer in the NIL landscape, FIU’s student-athletes will have a full suite of resources at their disposal to take ownership of their own brands and marketability of their likeness.

“At its core, INFLCR’s mission is to help athletes with brand development and maximize their social opportunities and presence through the delivery of digital assets and content,” Teamworks CEO Jim Cavale said.   “We are thrilled to bring these tools and our Plus product offerings to every athlete at FIU so they can pursue their own NIL business ventures.  Not only will the Golden Panthers be educated and empowered to build their brands through features like the Storyteller Playbook and INFLCR Exchange, but student-athletes will benefit from unique data and analytics to understand how best to leverage their brands and seek out the most effective forms of content for monetizing their NIL.  Through INFLCR’s Plus services, coaches, admin, and staff are also equipped with the software, assets and guidance to maximize their messaging to recruits.”

As part of the partnership, INFLCR’s mobile app will provide student-athletes with real-time multimedia content access from FIU’s communications and digital teams, so that they can share the content to their own personal social media channels.

Student-athletes will also receive personalized reporting that allows them to track their social media follower growth and social media engagement metrics.

FIU student-athletes will benefit from the vast expertise available to them on the FIU campus and potential opportunities in the Miami metro market.

Athletics programs are adopting this approach to educate and prepare staff and student-athletes for new opportunities and complexities from NIL legislation, aiming to ultimately provide best-case scenarios for student-athletes who will look to participate in monetization activities from their NIL.

INFLCR Core

INFLCR’s platform helps college and university athletic departments send internal media and national photography content to personalized galleries for each of their athletes, coaches and other brand ambassadors.

Those athletes and brand ambassadors are able to access their content galleries through the INFLCR mobile app and can then share the content to their personal social media accounts.

After the fact, schools have the ability to measure the increased audience engagement coming from the much-larger collective audience of those athletes and brand ambassadors.

Athletic departments use this approach to bolster their online presence in a way that impacts event attendance, recruiting, fundraising, and other strategic goals.
