Seattle U Launches NIL Program ‘Soar’ Powered by INFLCR

From Seattle University Athletics:

With the NCAA adoption of an interim name, image and likeness (NIL) policy, Seattle University Athletics launches the Soar NIL program, powered by INFLCR. Soar includes industry-leading digital solutions, campus community resources and a clear policy framework to support student athletes’ promotional opportunities.

“This is an exciting time for intercollegiate athletics and our student athletes,” said Director of Athletics Shaney Fink, “NIL activities align with our approach to whole person development. This is a practical opportunity to support professional formation through the programmatic structure of The Redhawk Experience.”

By incorporating Soar into The Redhawk Experience, students will have the opportunity to expand their understanding of business, brand management, entrepreneurship and financial literacy.

“Seattle U student athletes have access to a world-class Seattle market, strong alumni network and the support of strategic campus partnerships,” said Fink. “We are excited to offer students the full suite of INFLCR digital solutions and platforms, including INFLCR Plus and INFLCR Verified.”

INFLCR, which features a digital platform, mobile app and a dedicated INFLCR Plus support team, now serves more than 1,000 NCAA collegiate athletic teams and is used daily by more than 40,000 student-athletes to access content from competitions, practices, travel and more.

In addition to the digital solutions, Seattle U’s NIL policy is designed to provide students a clear framework by which to pursue and enjoy NIL activities, while also ensuring eligibility. The university will continue to assess the evolving NIL landscape and amend these policies as additional information and national action becomes available.

Over the next several weeks students, coaches and staff will be onboarded to the INFLCR platforms and receive more information about Soar.

Questions regarding the Soar NIL program should be directed to Steve Reid, Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance and Student Athlete Services.
