Texas Tech joins INFLCR team

Red Raiders sign multi-sport deal to empower athletes on social media

INFLCR is excited to welcome Texas Tech to the team with a multi-sport partnership!

Red Raiders student-athletes, coaches, and staff will now gain access to photos, videos and graphics created by Texas Tech and delivered through the INFLCR platform and mobile app, to share on their personal social-media channels.

“In the last two years, we have completely restructured our strategy on social, and it has centered around getting high-quality content in the hands of our student-athletes, in order to allow them to tell their stories to the best of their ability,” said Texas Tech Director of Social Media Blake Zimmerman.

“INFLCR was a natural ally in this process, and our partnership with them has taken that aspect of our plan into the stratosphere. As we continue to onboard more of our teams, we continue to enhance not only the brands of those teams on social, but more importantly, the personal brands of our student-athletes as well.

There are no better ambassadors for Texas Tech Athletics than the ones providing the success on the field, and INFLCR helps them be the best they can be in that area.”

INFLCR now serves more than 500 teams and more than 16,000 athletes from all levels of the NCAA. The Red Raiders are the newest client from the Big 12 Conference and another Teamworks client that has committed to a multi-sport partnership with INFLCR.

“Texas Tech is one of the most innovative programs in the country when it comes to telling the Red Raider story on social media,” INFLCR founder and CEO Jim Cavale said.

“For Texas Tech to put that great content into the hands of their student-athletes and empower them to use it to tell their own story, in their own way, is going to help both the student-athletes and the program.”

How It Works

INFLCR’s platform helps clients like Texas Tech University send internal media and national photography content to personalized galleries for each of their athletes, coaches and other brand ambassadors.

Those athletes and brand ambassadors are able to access their content galleries through the INFLCR mobile app, and can then share the content to their personal social media accounts.

After the fact, Texas Tech is able to measure the increased audience engagement coming from the much-larger collective audience of those athletes and brand ambassadors.

Texas Tech plans to use this approach to bolster their online presence in a way that impacts event attendance, recruiting, fundraising, and other strategic goals.
