California Baptist joins INFLCR team to boost digital brand

Lancers are first client from Western Athletic Conference

INFLCR is excited to welcome the California Baptist University Athletics Department to the team with an all-sports partnership.

Student-athletes, coaches and staff from the Lancers’ teams will gain access to photos, videos and graphics created by the CBU Athletics Staff and delivered through the INFLCR software and mobile app, to share on their personal social-media channels.

“We are excited about our partnership with INFLCR,” said CBU Athletics Director Dr. Micah Parker. “This will allow us to take our digital media efforts to the next level by effectively increasing our reach by empowering our student-athletes as brand ambassadors.  There is no better time to be a Lancer and INFLCR will be an important tool to help us tell our story.”

CBU is the first member of the Western Athletic Conference to partner with the Birmingham, Ala.-based company. INFLCR now serves more than 90 clients and more than 13,000 athletes from all levels of the NCAA.

“California Baptist is building a tremendous story in its rise from the NAIA to NCAA Division II and now competing for championships in Division I as a member of the WAC,” INFLCR founder and CEO Jim Cavale said. “It was exciting for us to see how the administration embraced the concept and wanted to be our first WAC partner. We are proud to help CBU empower its student-athletes to tell their story at California Baptist.”

How It Works

INFLCR’s platform helps clients like California Baptist send internal media and national photography content to personalized galleries for each of their athletes, coaches and other brand ambassadors.

Those athletes and brand ambassadors are able to access their content galleries through the INFLCR mobile app, and can then share the content to their personal social media accounts.

After the fact, CBU is able to measure the increased audience engagement coming from the much-larger collective audience of those athletes and brand ambassadors.

CBU plans to use this approach to bolster their online presence in a way that impacts event attendance, recruiting, fundraising, and other strategic goals.
