The Southern Utah University Athletic department and Director of Athletics Debbie Corum announced a multi-year, department-wide partnership with INFLCR, a multimedia company specializing in student-athlete brand building and name, image, and likeness education.
“This past year we were able to catch a glimpse of the resources that INFLCR provides when we partnered with them for our football program. As a result, SUU Athletics received recognition as one of the top schools in the nation to increase social media followers,” Corum said. “Football accounts grew by 20% overall, with Instagram making the largest increase at 29%, followed by Twitter at 20%. We are anxious to see what happens when we are able to extend this resource to our other sports. In addition, each student-athlete will now have unlimited access to photos, videos, etc. which will assist them in increasing their individual social media accounts. This is a win-win for our student-athletes and our department.”
Southern Utah is the latest institution from the Big Sky Conference to partner with INFLCR, joining more than 120 colleges and universities that are using INFLCR’s technology to power student-athlete brand-building and NIL education.
“Southern Utah is leaning into the opportunities coming soon from name, image, & likeness, and this partnership will put the Thunderbirds in a position to make the most of their personal and digital brand when NIL goes live,” said INFLCR CEO Jim Cavale. “We’re thrilled to get this partnership going and start serving Southern Utah student-athlete storytellers and staff.”
