Florida State University Launches Apex NIL Program Powered by INFLCR

INFLCR is excited to announce a department-wide partnership with Florida State Athletics! INFLCR’s platform, mobile app, and NIL team will play a central role in the launch of FSU’s Apex NIL program.

From Florida State:

“The [Apex] program is unlike any in college athletics. It was developed through a unique educational partnership with FSU’s Jim Moran Institute, the nation’s first stand-alone entrepreneurship college at a public university, FSU’s nationally renowned College of Business, and the Academic Center for Excellence, which will offer two for-credit academic courses. Apex will also offer Seminole student-athletes the opportunity to elevate their social media reach by utilizing the services provided by INFLCR, an industry leader representing more than 800 teams and more than 30,000 athletes.”

INFLCR’s platform will be rolled out to all 500 Seminoles student-athletes, providing content opportunities, brand strategy educational resources, social media measurement tools, and more.

“I am extremely proud of the comprehensive nature of the Apex program,” said FSU Vice President and Director of Athletics David Coburn.

“The cornerstone principle from the start of this process was to educate our student-athletes, and education plays a central role in every aspect of Apex. We believe we are the only Power Five school in the nation that will offer two for-credit courses in NIL education. By partnering with the FSU College of Business, the Jim Moran Institute and INFLCR, we will provide a complete educational process from which our student-athletes will benefit immediately and throughout their lives.”

“This is an exciting partnership for our student-athletes as part of a comprehensive branding program we have developed here at Florida State,” said head football coach Mike Norvell

“One of the main tenets of our football program is development, and INFLCR’s ability to assist us in upholding our standards while helping our student-athletes maximize their own platform is an incredible opportunity. We are looking forward to continuing to enhance education initiatives for our student-athletes to develop off the field, and this is an important part of our climb to the top.”

How It Works

Florida State’s staff, with assistance from INFLCR’s NIL Services team, have created a robust program in which student-athletes are equipped with the tools, content, curriculum, and more to prepare themselves for new opportunities that arise from NIL.

Once equipped with those tools, Florida State student-athletes across all varsity sports will be able to access the content provided by the communications, digital, video and graphics staff, delivered through INFLCR, to effectively communicate their story on their personal social media channels.

After the fact, Florida State student-athletes will be able to measure, assess, and analyze data with the educational tools at their fingertips to continue to develop the best personal brand possible.

Apex, the Florida State’s collaborative program with INFLCR, strives to be a complete and comprehensive name, image and likeness program that not only sets student-athletes up for success while at Florida State but for their time after graduation and beyond.
