Product Announcement: Storyteller Playbook Education Modules for Student-Athletes

INFLCR is excited to announce the launch of the Storyteller Playbook, an ongoing video content series available through the INFLCR mobile app for student-athletes to access custom educational content about brand-building, social media strategy, storytelling, and more.

Staff can track how many videos have been watched, and video content is accompanied by written content to offer multiple types of media for athletes to view.

After updating the INFLCR app, all 30,000+ student-athletes, coaches, and staff will be able to see real-time metrics based on their personal social media activity. Push notifications will alert them when new content is added over time.

Helping to launch the Storyteller Playbook initiative is Atlanta Dream co-owner and WNBA champion Renee Montgomery, who shares a variety of brand-building strategies from her personal experiences with student-athletes ahead of NIL.

Coming off the heels of November’s State of NIL presentation, this product launch is one of many leveraging the joint development efforts of the Teamworks and INFLCR engineering teams, following the successful round of funding raised by Teamworks last year.

In 2020 and through 2021, INFLCR’s development team has delivered one version release per month on average, including features such as jersey number recognition via artificial intelligence, Teamworks API connections for streamlined customer onboarding, and personal social media metric tracking for student-athletes, among dozens of improvements to the user experience in the INFLCR mobile application.

“And so, with that, another new thing that I want to show you today is Brand Strategy. The #Ath1etes Network. For athletes, by athletes.

And so, we have been speaking to universities and their student athletes since the beginning of INFLCR. You’ve surely seen me on campus speaking to a football team, a women’s basketball team, in some of the video content we’ve shown in the past. And I love doing that. I love being there with the athlete talking and engaging with them directly on how to build their brand. It’s something I’m very passionate about.

But that being said, they don’t just need to hear from me. They need to hear from their peers. And so we’ve begun creating content with athletes as they go to the next level, as they move on from college sports.

And I’m excited to announce that the #Ath1etes Network is our strategy to not just deliver educational content each week around NIL and brand strategy from me and my team (that will be in there), but it also includes content from athletes who are now going on to the next level. They have an agent, they have a brand strategy, they’re exercising their NIL and they want to share all that with your student athletes. It’s powerful.”
