Seattle U Adds Redhawk Exchange to NIL Offerings

From Seattle Athletics:

Seattle University Athletics has launched the Redhawk Exchange, a platform that provides Redhawk student athletes the ability to connect directly with local businesses, donors, alumni and other interested parties on Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) partnerships and opportunities.

The service is in partnership with INFLCR, a leading athlete brand-building and NIL business management app for athletic organizations, and compliments the INFLCR Global Exchange Program, giving student athletes a wide array of NIL opportunities.

The Redhawk Exchange allows registered businesses to search, filter and initiate conversations with Seattle U student athletes to discuss a NIL deal. Once the NIL deal between a registered business and a student athlete is completed, the business will use the Redhawk Exchange to create a transaction that will produce a direct payment to the student athlete and automate a disclosure to the INFLCR Verified Compliance Ledger.

“We are excited to offer the Redhawk Exchange for Seattle U student athletes and our Redhawk supporters,” said Director of Athletics Shaney Fink. “This addition to our NIL program SOAR greatly increases NIL and career opportunities for student athletes while enhancing relationships with supporters and local businesses.”

Interested business can access the Redhawk Exchange and register for free by clicking here. Neither Seattle U nor INFLCR receives any revenue from NIL transactions in the Redhawk Exchange – all compliance, payments and tax considerations are managed in the app by the student athlete and the business.

“The Redhawk Exchange provides a compliant outlet for student athletes to connect directly with supporters, while Seattle’s SOAR program offers education and guidance,” said Jim Cavale, INFLCR Founder. “With INFLCR’s additional education and metrics, Seattle U is fully stocked with the necessary tools and resources to ensure their student-athletes have success with NIL.”

INFLCR Plus Local Exchange: How It Works

INFLCR provides a school-customized NIL exchange as an extension to their athletics website where the school can send any business, individual or collective seeking to bring NIL opportunities to its student-athletes. Once registered, businesses can search, communicate, pay and report on behalf of student-athletes they’re transacting with, streamlining the student-athlete’s compliance and tax reporting responsibilities in their existing INFLCR app experience.
