A New Gamified Financial Education Program Comes to INFLCR

INFLCR has teamed up with Invesco QQQ, The Official ETF of the NCAA®, to bring access to their innovative digital game through the INFLCR app.

The mobile-first interactive game is called How Not To Suck At Money, and was created with the assistance of former collegiate and professional athletes like Atlanta Hawks co-owner Grant Hill, ESPN broadcaster Jessica Mendoza, and New Orleans Pelicans VP of Basketball Operations & Team Development Swin Cash. The game teaches college students the fundamentals of finance in an engaging, fun and challenging way to make learning stick.

The goal of the experience is to assist student-athletes in developing healthy financial habits and make confident financial decisions, ultimately empowering them to become part of the investor community. Players of the game help nine characters in a semi-surreal college town through their money dilemma that needs solving. Through this interactive experience, athletes will have to show that they don’t suck at money. In doing so, they’ll discover the five money secrets and earn their Money Playbook – a collection of the financial knowledge they’ve learned to download and keep.

Visuals in the game were created by Jose Mendez, an illustrator who has worked with popular Gen Z brands like Nike, Spotify and Converse to create a college environment with a diverse range of compelling characters.

Athletes can now access the game through INFLCR’s Storyteller Playbook and Compliance Exchange. Players who complete the program will receive a certification badge on LinkedIn.

How Not To Suck at Money is sponsored by Invesco QQQ, distributed by Invesco Distributors, Inc. and is not an offer of financial products. For important information, click here.
