INFLCR Partners with Blue Wire to Open Podcast Market to Student-Athletes

Blue Wire, the leading podcast network featuring athletes, sports journalists and influential fans, is partnering with INFLCR to empower student-athlete voices and name, image and likeness opportunities.

The innovative partnership featuring the Blue Wire Hustle program gives collegiate athletes easy, compliant access to a platform where they can build an audience for their podcast and share in advertising revenue. Blue Wire works with former pro athletes such as 2x Super Bowl Champion Chris Long, NFL Hall of Famer Cris Carter, Basketball Hall of Famer Lisa Leslie, WNBA star Sue Bird and U.S. soccer star Megan Rapinoe. Among its investors are former NBA star Baron Davis.

“This is a partnership utilizing each of our strengths. INFLCR has an amazing rolodex of universities and athletes and understands the complexities of the NIL rules,” said Blue Wire Founder & CEO Kevin Jones.

“Blue Wire has a track record for making some of the best podcasts in sports. We’re elated to join forces with INFLCR so we can connect and build content with student-athletes across the nation this year.”

The Blue Wire Hustle program provides technical and educational support, distribution and ad-network sales for its podcasters. Select participating student-athletes also could be featured guests on existing Blue Wire podcasts.

The integration with the INFLCR mobile app will create an efficient, turnkey process in which NCAA student-athletes can compliantly share in ad revenue and use Blue Wires revenue tracking and analytics tools. All deal activity will be automatically reported to INFLCR Verified’s Compliance Ledger.

“Podcasts continue to grow rapidly in popularity, and they represent a unique opportunity for student-athletes to leverage their voice, their audience, and their position, to start their own podcast,” INFLCR founder and CEO Jim Cavale.

“Blue Wire is the clear leader in empowering these opportunities. Giving student-athletes the tools to be successful is our mission, and this puts the opportunity for them to pursue podcasts compliantly at their fingertips.”

In-App Access

In the INFLCR Verified Compliance Exchange, student-athletes will be directed to education about Blue Wire Hustle and where to sign up outside the INFLCR app. All activity is automatically reported back to the Compliance Ledger.

In-App Education

Blue Wire will provide education on best practices that will live in INFLCR’s Storyteller Playbook, which student-access can access via the INFLCR app using their mobile device.

In-App Reporting

All athlete transactions generated with Blue Wire will be reported to the INFLCR Verified Ledger, to cover all required reporting for collegiate athletes. This activity will be updated in real time to ensure athletes do not jeopardize eligibility through their NIL opportunities.
