The University at Albany department of athletics has announced the launch of its new UNLEASHED program, allowing Great Dane student-athletes to pursue opportunities associated with the newly adopted legislation around Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL).
UNLEASHED is a multi-phase initiative that will roll out completely over the coming weeks and months. The initiative’s first phase is the announcement of a new partnership between UAlbany Athletics and INFLCR.
“We’re excited to take this first step into a new era of collegiate athletics,” said UAlbany Director of Athletics Mark Benson. “INFLCR’s robust platform will afford our student-athletes the opportunities and tools to enhance their brands and navigate the changing landscape brought about by the NIL legislation.”
INFLCR’s brand-building platform will be made available to UAlbany student-athletes with the start of the fall 2021 semester.
