The Charleston Edge: College of Charleston Announces Partnership with INFLCR

From College of Charleston Athletics:

College of Charleston Athletics has cemented a partnership with INFLCR, The Charleston Edge, to help student-athletes grow their personal brands and maximize Name, Image & Likeness opportunities in the new era of collegiate sports, Director of Athletics Matt Roberts announced Thursday.

“At The College, we seek to empower our student-athletes to realize their potential on and off the playing surface, and it’s vital that we provide them with the necessary tools to do so,” Roberts said. “Our partnership with INFLCR will help give our student-athletes an edge as they navigate the waters of NIL and capitalize on the value of their own brands. We’re fortunate to be in a world-renowned city at a world-class institution with an already highly recognized brand, and we’re excited to utilize INFCLR to amplify The Charleston Edge and assist our programs in this new chapter of college sports.”

“Technology investments like INFLCR are a critical piece of a department’s NIL strategy and are necessary for student-athletes to be able to fully maximize the monetary values of their personal brands,” said INFLCR Founder & CEO Jim Cavale. “We are thrilled to partner with College of Charleston and integrate INFLCR’s Verified and Plus features into its “The Charleston Edge” NIL program. With INFLCR Verified, Cougar student-athletes can educate themselves on brand-building best practices through the Storyteller Playbook while also seamlessly connecting with a growing list of brand and vendor marketplaces integrated with the INFLCR Compliance Exchange. INFLCR’s Plus offerings equip Cougars coaches and staff with the software, assets, and guidance to maximize their messaging to potential recruits, while providing unique insights for current student-athletes looking to build their brands and benefit from future NIL opportunities.”
