OneTeam, Altius Sports Partners and INFLCR Join Forces to Educate Student-Athletes on Group Rights

As student-athletes gain the right to monetize their name, image and likeness, OneTeam Partners (OneTeam), the undisputed leader in the group licensing space, is pleased to announce that it has partnered with leading-edge NIL advisory and education firm Altius Sports Partners (ASP) and INFLCR-Teamworks (INFLCR), the leading content and compliance software platform for college athletics programs, to create and distribute best-in-class group rights educational resources.

“This is a transformational time in college sports, and we are excited about the opportunity to bring group licensing opportunities to college athletes,” said Ahmad Nassar, CEO of OneTeam. “The INFLCR platform will help us reach athletes where they are and provide them with superior educational resources, developed with Altius Sports, and long overdue access.”

ASP will provide high-level educational support on group licensing to be distributed to student-athletes through the INFLCR platforms to ensure they are well-informed throughout their athletic careers. As the landscape continues to change and the door opens for student-athletes to participate in group licensing opportunities, INFLCR and OneTeam will provide athletes with the tools they need to maximize their NIL through group licensing opportunities.

University of North Carolina Director of Athletics Bubba Cunningham has long supported the group licensing model and is embracing the new landscape for Tar Heel student-athletes. In fact UNC recently signed an alumni group rights agreement with The Brandr Group, a OneTeam affiliated company. “As we move into this new era of college athletics, we want to continue to make sure our student-athletes are prepared for the future – including learning about the vast array of NIL opportunities,” said Cunningham. “Helping them understand group licensing is an important part of that. OneTeam brings expertise and insights that will benefit all student-athletes.”

Through this strategic partnership, OneTeam will provide student-athletes on the INFLCR platforms with educational resources developed with guidance from ASP and group rights experts from OneTeam, The Brandr Group and endorsed by former college athletes. INFLCR and Teamworks will provide their growing user community of more than 150,000 student-athletes, with the ability to opt-in and sign OneTeam or The Brandr Group group licensing agreements (GLAs).

“Group licensing has long been a key component of name, image, and likeness,’’ said ASP CEO and Founding Partner Casey Schwab. “There isn’t a better partner around than OneTeam when it comes to collaborating on how best to empower student-athletes to best position themselves for this space.”

“As group licensing is allowed in collegiate athletics, we believe it will be a big opportunity for men and women in all sports, at all levels,” INFLCR founder and CEO Jim Cavale said. “OneTeam is the clear leader in group licensing for athletes, and they are natural strategic partners as we seek to provide our clients and their student-athletes with the best resources to support NIL activities.”

The INFLCR platform includes:

In-App Access

In the INFLCR Verified Compliance Exchange, student-athletes will be directed to education on OneTeam’s best practices and the OneTeam platform where they can opt-in to GLAs.

Working with ASP experts, OneTeam will provide education on group licensing best practices that will live in INFLCR’s Storyteller Playbook, which student-athletes can access on-demand via desktop or via the INFLCR app using their mobile device.
