Toledo Men’s Basketball joins INFLCR with Multi-Year Agreement

INFLCR is excited to welcome the University of Toledo men’s basketball program with a multi-year partnership.

Rocket student-athletes, coaches and staff will gain access to photos, videos and graphics created by Toledo Athletics and delivered through the INFLCR software and mobile app, to share on their personal social-media channels.

“Our players each have their own individual story and we want to provide them all the tools to build their brand, especially with the NCAA moving toward allowing student-athletes to benefit from their name, image and likeness,” said head coach Tod Kowalczyk.

“The digital content we can provide them instantly through the INFCLR app will help them tell their own stories as well as expand the Toledo Basketball brand.”

Toledo is the latest partner from the Mid-American Conference to join the INFLCR family. INFLCR now serves more than 700 teams and more than 30,000 athletes from all levels of the NCAA. INFLCR’s client list of more than 100 universities includes multiple programs from every NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision conference.

“We are very excited to continue to enhance the student-athlete experience for our players,” said assistant coach Walter Offutt. “Thanks to INFLCR, our players will now have access to their own digital content whenever they want. The landscape of college athletics is changing, and we are doing our best to help our student-athletes navigate it.”

INFLCR founder and CEO Jim Cavale said Toledo Men’s Basketball is positioning its program for success as college sports enter an era in which student-athletes will be able to monetize their Names, Image and Likeness.

“From the start, the coaching staff at Toledo recognized the value and power of their student-athletes as brand ambassadors for the program,” Cavale said. “They are all-in as far as helping players build a brand for themselves that can benefit them now and beyond their playing days at Toledo.”

How It Works

INFLCR’s platform helps clients like Toledo Men’s Basketball send internal media and national photography content to personalized galleries for each of their athletes, coaches and other brand ambassadors.

Those athletes and brand ambassadors are able to access their content galleries through the INFLCR mobile app, and can then share the content to their personal social media accounts.

After the fact, Toledo Men’s Basketball is able to measure the increased audience engagement coming from the much-larger collective audience of those athletes and brand ambassadors.

Toledo Men’s Basketball plans to use this approach to bolster its online presence in a way that impacts event attendance, recruiting, fundraising, and other strategic goals.
