WVU Joins INFLCR as First College Football Program in NIL Data Services Pilot Product Offering

INFLCR is excited to announce the launch of WVU football as its first college football partner who will be piloting the “Data Services” product offering from the INFLCR team.

The new Data Services offering from INFLCR is the first of several products that the company will be rolling out as part of an innovative Name, Image, & Likeness (NIL) Suite. Data Services combines custom reporting with digital education and content consulting for student-athletes, coaches and the athletic program social media accounts.

WVU Football is one of several pilot athletic teams to sign on and help lead the launch program over the next year as college sports awaits the legislation of Name, Image, & Likeness for student-athletes.

“We’re a players-first program. We’ve looked at the numbers just like you have, and what our players have been able to do on their social media platforms, and the voice they have developed has been incredible. I think INFLCR has played an important role in that,” said WVU Head Football Coach Neal Brown.

“INFLCR’s NIL service is perfectly aligned with WVU football’s mission to put our players first, and to make sure our staff is equipped with the best information to help our student-athletes succeed both on and off the field.”

After recently expanding their INFLCR partnership to include all Mountaineers varsity sports in the fall of 2019, WVU has now extended that agreement along with adding the Data Services product offering.

“Coach Brown and the staff at West Virginia have been forward thinkers since the very beginning of our partnership,” said INFLCR CEO Jim Cavale.

“It’s no surprise that WVU has leaned into our new Data Services offering, making them one of the most cutting-edge programs in all of college sports. We’re so excited to work with their student-athletes, coaches, and creative team to be ready for the new era of student-athlete NIL.”

The extension and expansion of this partnership builds on the successes seen from student-athletes on the INFLCR app over the past year, and sets the stage for WVU to be prepared for a new era in college sports around Name, Image, & Likeness opportunities for student-athletes.
