INFLCR Empowers Athletes and Teams with Original Content on Draft Day

The 2020 NFL Draft was one of the most captivating in sports history, leaning on technology to help share the stories of the athletes added to the ranks of the NFL.

At INFLCR, we’re grateful to have been such a big part of the content creation process for 165 of those NFL athletes, producing original content and connecting athletes with our professional photography network to find images of themselves and share their excitement from the Draft.

Take a look at the numbers:

The first round of the NFL Draft saw 16 INFLCR active athletes picked, including several in the first ten. Our team partnered with athletes and teams to combine design help with jersey swaps, whitelisted music, and the INFLCR platform to help deliver curated content to celebrate the milestone:

INFLCR teams who used whitelisted music from our media partners also saw great traction on social media, with featured videos across Twitter and Instagram receiving a million views and tens of thousands of comments, likes, and retweets.

Between the 2nd and 3rd rounds of the Draft, we saw 52 INFLCR athletes picked. Again, we partnered with those athletes and our client collegiate football programs to build content and leverage our music and photography partnerships to share curated content:

NFL Draft – Day 3

On the last day of the NFL Draft, INFLCR had counted 165 total active users selected to continue their careers in the NFL.

From their combined posting on Instagram, we found that these athletes:

  • Grew their collective audience by 1.6 million followers
  • Received over 10 million interactions
  • Received 6.6 million video views
  • Earned an engagement rate per post of 35.7%

These athletes, many from clients onboarded in the last year, logged an average of 115+ visits to the INFLCR app to see new content of themselves provided by their school, by our media partners, or (in the case of the Draft) by INFLCR’s custom design network.
