Duke Adds Women’s Basketball and Football to Multi-Year INFLCR Partnership

INFLCR is excited to add Duke’s women’s basketball and football programs to our existing partnership with Duke Athletics.

Duke University’s partnership with INFLCR began in 2018 with men’s basketball, and after seeing significant success on the platform, Duke has now activated its women’s basketball and football teams on the platform and mobile app.

INFLCR now serves more than 600 teams and more than 18,000 athletes from all levels of the NCAA.

How It Worked For Duke

Duke’s storied 2018-2019 men’s basketball team logged just under 2,000 individual app sessions, visiting the INFLCR app to see personalized content galleries where photos, videos, and other content were available to view and download.

1,300 downloads and shares of Duke content by student-athletes reached over 19 million people during the 2018-2019 season, helping to build their brands ahead of big next steps for several Duke draft picks, while also contributing to the growth of Duke’s own team social media accounts. Collectively, Duke student-athlete accounts had 3.63x more reach than the main team accounts.

Duke basketball’s social accounts grew by 75% (gaining 450K followers in a one-year period while supported by the INFLCR platform), consistently keeping engagement rates on IG higher than social media posts from NBA team accounts.

“We are thrilled to bring the INFLCR-impact to more student-athletes at Duke,” said INFLCR CEO Jim Cavale.

“With March Madness and Spring Football around the corner, this is great timing for us to continue to grow this already-successful Duke partnership.”

INFLCR is excited to bring value to more Duke student-athletes, and continue helping grow the overall brand of Duke University.
