Colorado joins INFLCR team to boost digital brand

Buffs are newest Pac-12 client to sign multi-sport deal

INFLCR is excited to welcome Colorado Athletics to the team with a multi-sport partnership.

“We view INFLCR as the perfect tool that allows us to share great content to wider audiences, while at the same time providing a mechanism for our current and former student-athletes to continue to build their personal brands,” said Colorado chief marketing officer Matt Biggers.

“Providing such a turnkey way to share tremendous stories about the Buffs experience is a real game changer for everyone involved.”

Student-athletes, coaches and staff from the Buffs will gain access to photos, videos and graphics created by the Colorado Athletics Staff and delivered through the INFLCR software and mobile app, to share on their personal social-media channels.

“At Colorado football, we are relentlessly looking for ways to help our players tell their stories and grow their brands,” said Colorado head football coach, Mel Tucker.

“We chose INFLCR as it allows our team an easy and effective mobile app that accesses content of themselves that they wouldn’t normally have at their fingertips. INFLCR gives our players and coaches the ability to control their own narratives and share the Buff culture with our awesome fans. It’s a win-win for us.”

Colorado is the newest member of the Pac-12 Conference to partner with the Birmingham, Ala.-based company. INFLCR now serves more than 90 clients and more than 14,000 athletes from all levels of the NCAA, including multiple members of every Power 5 conference.

“We’re excited to get going with another Pac-12 client,” INFLCR founder and CEO Jim Cavale said.

“Coach Mel Tucker and the administration at Colorado recognized how providing content to their student-athletes would enhance their experience while also telling a powerful story in recruiting. As Colorado competes for Pac-12 and national championships, the players and coaches will be empowered with great content at their fingertips to grow their personal brands and the Colorado brand they represent.”

How It Works

INFLCR’s platform helps clients like Colorado send internal media and national photography content to personalized galleries for each of their athletes, coaches and other brand ambassadors.

Those athletes and brand ambassadors are able to access their content galleries through the INFLCR mobile app, and can then share the content to their personal social media accounts.

After the fact, Colorado is able to measure the increased audience engagement coming from the much-larger collective audience of those athletes and brand ambassadors.

Colorado plans to use this approach to bolster their online presence in a way that impacts event attendance, recruiting, fundraising, and other strategic goals.
