Lamar Athletics joins INFLCR team

Cardinals come on board with multi-sport deal to boost digital brand

INFLCR is excited to welcome Lamar University to the team with a multi-sport partnership.

Cardinals student-athletes, coaches, and staff will now gain access to photos, videos and graphics created by Lamar Athletics and delivered through the INFLCR platform and mobile app, to share on their personal social-media channels.

“We are always looking for new ways to reach our fan base, potential recruits and family members or current student-athletes,” Lamar Director of Athletics Marco Born said.

“We have already made huge strides through our various social media platforms and INFLCR is another way for us to enhance our brand. We are excited about this partnership.”

INFLCR now serves more than 90 clients including representatives from every NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision conference and several top FCS programs. Lamar is the first multi-sport partner from the Southland Conference.

“We are excited to bring in another multi-sport partner from a new conference,” INFLCR founder and CEO Jim Cavale said. “The administration at Lamar immediately saw the value in putting the student-athlete first and empowering them with content to tell their story at Lamar.”

How It Works

INFLCR’s platform helps clients like the Lamar University send internal media and national photography content to personalized galleries for each of their athletes, coaches and other brand ambassadors.

Those athletes and brand ambassadors are able to access their content galleries through the INFLCR mobile app, and can then share the content to their personal social media accounts.

After the fact, Lamar is able to measure the increased audience engagement coming from the much-larger collective audience of those athletes and brand ambassadors.

Lamar plans to use this approach to bolster their online presence in a way that impacts event attendance, recruiting, fundraising, and other strategic goals.
