We’re thrilled to welcome Neeta Sreekanth to INFLCR, in the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer (COO)!
Based in a newly opened Los Angeles satellite office, Neeta steps in to lead the company’s marketing, sales, client success, operations, and athlete engagement departments, and will apply creative innovation to continue building INFLCR’s brand as the leading social media content delivery platform for collegiate sports.
Neeta joins INFLCR from her role as Head of Social Content and Strategy at IGN Entertainment, the leading internet media company focused on video game and entertainment enthusiasts. She also has extensive leadership experience in sports and digital, having led social media teams and initiatives at both ESPN and the Dallas Cowboys.
During her time at IGN, Neeta transformed them into a global leader and the Most Engaging Social Brand (CrowdTangle 2018-2019 E3 & Comic-Con) in social media engagement with a focus on Video Games, Entertainment, and Pop Culture.
At ESPN, Neeta was heavily involved in the production of social media content, quickly moving into a leadership role as Manager of Social Media.
Neeta owned original content creation and strategy, integrating and shaping how ESPN engaged with its TV and digital audience around the NFL, First Take, SportsCenter, and ESPN brands, maintaining a #1 ranking in sports social media engagement (Shareablee) during her entire tenure.
During her time at ESPN, Neeta helped build scalable best practices for social content and helped pioneer strategy around IG Stories, Periscope broadcasts, and FB/Twitter live programming.
Neeta also worked with on-camera talent to help strengthen their brands on social media, while helping them integrate into the overall social content that ESPN was programming. Neeta was a part of many notable sporting events including Super Bowls, Pro Bowls, NBA Finals, CFP Championships, Final Fours, and NFL/NBA Drafts.
As a leader in the Dallas Cowboys’ social media team, Neeta helped pioneer social strategy that innovated how audiences interacted with the team, while putting the fan first.
These strategies were put into action at a time when professional sports teams were figuring out how to best leverage social media to engage fans, drive awareness, and give players a platform from which to connect with their audiences.
Now at INFLCR, Neeta will be bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience in social media and sports, along with personal experience as a Division I college basketball player, to help the company deliver even more value to athletes and athletic departments across the country.
