Stetson Athletics joins INFLCR family

INFLCR is excited to welcome Stetson Athletics to the team as the first football partner from the Pioneer Football League! The Hatters football program signs on to INFLCR to boost brand and empower athletes on social media.

“The landscape in college athletics continues to evolve with lightning speed, and our partnership with INFLCR will allow Stetson Athletics to move the needle on multiple fronts, using our most valuable assets, our student-athletes as ambassadors for our branding efforts,” Stetson Associate AD for Communications Ricky Hazel said.

“We are blessed to have some of the very best and brightest students in all of college athletics, and providing them with the INFLCR platform to authentically tell their stories will enhance their own brands while growing the unique Stetson Hatters brand for years to come.”

Located in DeLand, Fla., Stetson’s Football Championship Subdivision football team will receive photos, videos and other digital content created by the university and delivered by the INFLCR software and mobile app.

The athletes, coaches, staff and other brand ambassadors will be able to easily share the content to their personal social-media channels, and the University will then be able to track the impact of this much larger collective audience. In their first week on the INFLCR platform, Hatters players and coaches downloaded and shared more than 1,300 photos and videos.

The Hatters are the first Pioneer Football League team to sign with INFLCR. Overall, INFLCR serves 80-plus clients including programs from every Football Bowl Subdivision conference and multiple top FCS programs.

“Stetson’s administration saw the vision for this right away,” INFLCR founder and CEO Jim Cavale said.

“There is no one better to tell the story of what it is like to play football at Stetson than the student-athletes and coaches who live this every day. By investing in putting the student-athlete first, Stetson is going to grow its brand as it helps those wearing the uniforms and making the plays tell their stories and build their personal brands with great content.”

How It Works

INFLCR’s platform helps clients like Stetson University send internal media and national photography content to personalized galleries for each of their athletes, coaches and other brand ambassadors.

Those athletes and brand ambassadors are able to access their content galleries through the INFLCR mobile app, and can then share the content to their personal social media accounts.

After the fact, Stetson is able to measure the increased audience engagement coming from the much-larger collective audience of those athletes and brand ambassadors.

Stetson plans to use this approach to bolster their online presence in a way that impacts event attendance, recruiting, fundraising, and other strategic goals.
