Monmouth joins INFLCR family

INFLCR is excited to welcome Monmouth Athletics to the team with a multi-sport partnership!

“I’m excited about the opportunity we have to work with INFLCR. It is going to be a great tool to grow the exposure of brands of our athletes, athletic department, coaches and most importantly the University,” said Greg Viscomi, Monmouth Associate Athletics Director for Communications and New Media.

“There is so much content that gets left on the cutting room floor or filed in an archive, and by using INFLCR much of that content is going to see the light of day.”

Student-athletes, coaches, staff and other brand ambassadors for the Hawks’ football, men’s basketball and softball teams will now receive that content directly to their mobile devices through the INFLCR software and app, which they will then be able to share to their social media networks.

Viscomi said the university administration carefully considered its strategy for efficiently delivering content and saw INFLCR as the clear solution.

“When members of the athletics communication staff returned from various professional conferences this summer, we got together and talked about the services and ideas we wanted to implement for the upcoming season, INFLCR was at the top of that list,” Viscomi said.

“I really need to commend (Vice President/Director of Athletics) Dr. (Marilyn) McNeil and our coaching staff that helped put together the support we needed to make this vision a reality.”

“As a Football Championship Subdivision and a ‘mid-major’ we need to continually find creative ways to get our brand out to our target audiences, including recruits, alums and donors,” Viscomi said. “We’ve always prided ourselves on being not only a University but also an Athletics Department that is not afraid to lead the pack or be early adopters when it comes to new ideas.

“I think there is a real educational component here too for our student-athletes. It’s an opportunity to learn about creating their brand and how to grow that brand to set them up for success after they graduate from Monmouth University.”

Monmouth represents INFLCR’s first client in two NCAA Division I conferences: the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (men’s basketball, softball) and the Big South Conference (football). Overall, the company serves more than 70 partners.

“We are excited to begin helping Monmouth Athletics tell its story as the Hawks compete for championships and drive for excellence on and off the field and court,” said Jim Cavale, INFLCR founder and CEO.

“By putting great content at their fingertips and empowering them to use it responsibly to grow their persona brands within context of the team, Monmouth is putting the student-athlete first.”

How It Works

INFLCR’s platform helps clients like Monmouth University send internal media and national photography content to personalized galleries for each of their athletes, coaches and other brand ambassadors.

Those athletes and brand ambassadors are able to access their content galleries through the INFLCR mobile app, and can then share the content to their personal social media accounts.

After the fact, Monmouth is able to measure the increased audience engagement coming from the much-larger collective audience of those athletes and brand ambassadors.

Monmouth plans to use this approach to bolster their online presence in a way that impacts event attendance, recruiting, fundraising, and other strategic goals.
