SMU Mustangs join INFLCR team

INFLCR is excited to welcome the SMU Mustangs to the team with a multi-sport partnership!

“The INFLCR platform will empower our student-athletes to share their compelling stories in personal ways,” said SMU Senior Associate Athletics Director Brad Sutton.

“They are truly our programs’ best ambassadors. I’m also excited to provide them a tool like this to build their own brands and prepare them for success after college.”

SMU is the second NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision athletics program from the state of Texas to partner with INFLCR. Mustangs student-athletes coaches, staff and alumni in men’s basketball, women’s basketball, volleyball, men’s soccer and women’s soccer will receive content delivered by the INFLCR software and mobile app.

“SMU is a college sports brand with a great history, and we’re excited to bring the INFLCR platform to the great state of Texas with an innovative partner that has a great story to tell and is putting its student-athletes first,” said INFLCR founder and CEO Jim Cavale.

“Empowering their student-athletes and other brand ambassadors to tell their own stories on social media within the context of the SMU brand is going to be a win-win for the players and the program.”

How It Works

INFLCR’s platform helps clients like SMU send internal media and national photography content to personalized galleries for each of their athletes, coaches and other brand ambassadors.

Those athletes and brand ambassadors are able to access their content galleries through the INFLCR mobile app, and can then share the content to their personal social media accounts.

After the fact, SMU is able to measure the increased audience engagement coming from the much-larger collective audience of those athletes and brand ambassadors.

SMU plans to use this approach to bolster their online presence in a way that impacts event attendance, recruiting, fundraising, and other strategic goals.
