UIC joins INFLCR team

INFLCR is excited to welcome the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) Athletics to the team with a multi-sport partnership! The Flames are the first partners from Horizon League.

“We couldn’t be more excited to team up with INFLCR to help our student-athletes tell our shared story as they continue to enhance their own personal brand and the profile of the UIC Flames,” said Dan Yopchick, UIC Senior Associate Athletics Director.

“Those of us who live in this world understand the importance of equipping our student-athletes with the resources needed to win championships. At UIC, what we believe to be equally as important is the need to provide those young women and men with tools that can lead to great success in life well beyond their years on our campus.

We know that the INFLCR platform can help us do just that by educating, empowering and providing guidance to help UIC student-athletes tell their stories now in a way that no one else can.”

UIC is the first member of Horizon League to partner with INFLCR. Flames athletes in men’s and women’s basketball will receive content delivered by the INFLCR software and mobile app.

“UIC is an up-and-coming athletic program in one of the great sports markets in the country,” said INFLCR founder and CEO Jim Cavale. “We are excited to help the Flames tell their story on social media as they compete for Horizon League championships.”

How It Works

INFLCR’s platform helps clients like UIC send internal media and national photography content to personalized galleries for each of their athletes, coaches and other brand ambassadors.

Those athletes and brand ambassadors are able to access their content galleries through the INFLCR mobile app, and can then share the content to their personal social media accounts.

After the fact, UIC is able to measure the increased audience engagement coming from the much-larger collective audience of those athletes and brand ambassadors.

UIC plans to use this approach to bolster their online presence in a way that impacts event attendance, recruiting, fundraising, and other strategic goals.
