Dustin Nichols Joins INFLCR As VP of Business Development

Influencer (INFLCR), the leading SaaS platform for college sports teams and athletes to build their brands on social media, announced today the hiring of veteran sports marketing executive, Dustin Nichols, as Vice President of Business Development.

In this newly created role, Nichols will be responsible for leading the business development efforts for a company that has grown to more than 60 clients since its founding in 2017.



Before joining INFLCR, Nichols led the business unit for elite athlete performance training and NFL combine preparation at Michael Johnson Performance (MJP). Under Nichols’ leadership, MJP’s ranking soared from an average of 12th the previous 8 years, to the 2nd best NFL Combine Facility in the nation in just one year. He grew revenue by over 35% for the NFL Pre-Combine Program & helped expand the Nike training partnership to unprecedented levels.

Nichols has also held leadership roles at Learfield IMG College, Wichita State University, and developed his own sports marketing consultancy group.

Nichols will be leading the push for new members on the INFLCR network, as well as developing creative solutions by helping existing partners extract even greater value from the platform and mobile app.

INFLCR is actively used by top-flight programs including the University of Kentucky, University of Miami, Duke University, the University of Oregon, along with clients from every NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision conference as well as the professional sports ranks.
