How Northeastern is Setting a New Bar for All-Sports Content Delivery

Northeastern joins INFLCR

The INFLCR team is excited to see how Northeastern University makes the most out of their new all-sports content delivery program. Under this plan, all of Northeastern’s varsity sports will use the INFLCR platform and mobile app to deliver photos, videos, and other content directly to players in Northeastern Athletics.

Those athletics include varsity sports that will be a debut opportunity for INFLCR, as the team starts working with athletes in sports like rowing and men and women’s track and field.

The all-sports program opens up opportunities for a new department-wide approach to social media, as Northeastern looks to bolster their online presence to impact event attendance, recruiting, fundraising, and other strategic goals.

INFLCR’s platform helps clients like Northeastern send internal media and national photography content to personalized galleries for each of their athletes, coaches and other brand ambassadors.

Those athletes and brand ambassadors are able to access their content galleries on their mobile devices, and can then download and share the content through their personal social media accounts.

After the fact, Northeastern is able to measure the increased audience engagement coming from the much-larger collective audience of those athletes and brand ambassadors.

Northeastern will also be one of the first INFLCR clients to involve an athletic fan group, who will also have access to photos and videos from Northeastern hockey events. Acting as brand ambassadors for the school, the hockey fan group will be able to post dynamic content throughout the season to support the team and encourage participation from the student body.

Northeastern has already begun to activate various sports and train their players in the software. We’re looking forward to seeing student-athletes and staff alike tell the Northeastern story on social media!
